I picked up a used F90 and have a couple of questions regarding blade changes:
1. The sliding table won't go back past the blade. Anyone ever run into this? Is there a lock somewhere I need to release?
2. What is the length and diameter of the rob needed to lock the shaft while undoing the large nut?
Thanks in advance.
Does your saw lock in position when pulled all the way back? On mine, the carriage in between the actual slider and the stationary frame of the machine seems to migrate forward if I don't regularly pull the slider far enough back to lock. When I received the machine (used) it was so far forward that it would not clear the scoring blade. I had to gently slam the slider back a number of times to make it shift itself back enough to lock. If you do this I will caution you that you will need to check the crosscut fence for squareness. do you know how to do that accurately on a slider.?
As for the rod, I am using the handle to an odd wrench that came with the machine and I have no idea what it is for but it measures 12mm (.473"dia.)
As KCR said, the trolley gets out of position and requires a firm pull to re-position it. The locking bar is 12mm by 7 1/2" long and has a round ball on the end.
