Aborted X left axis switch low error8/30
I had been running a very simple profile job when I needed to go out of town for a few days. Everything was shut down and left as it was so I could start back up when I returned. When I began again the gantry moved into position, the z axis moved to just above the work piece and stopped.
One of the limit switches mounted on the X-Axis is either switched or not sending signal to the input. The "low" means that it is missing signal. The signal should be "high" or on. So right now the machine thinks that the X axis is all the way at the end of one of the sides. It may not be physically there, but the switch is not sending the signal saying it is clear. Try activating the switch a few times, it could be it got a little dirty inside.
open the Input screen with the machine and software on activate the switch with your finger and see if indicator light goes on or off. If not then switch is the culprit.
this is one of two reasons I get low axis errors the other it the machine thinks it is trying to machine below the set parameter
