Lamello is expanding its product range with a ground-breaking solution for lightweight construction: The new LC P-16 enables strong, detachable connections without concealed solid edging and combines efficiency with aesthetics. With the LC P-16, Lamello sets new standards in joining technology for lightweight construction materials.
P-System connection for lightweight materials and speedy installation
The LC P-16 combines the advantages of lightweight construction with efficient Clamex technology. Due to its width, the LC P-16 is anchored in the surface layers and acts as an adapter where a Clamex P-14 connector can be inserted. The LC P-16 thus enables extremely strong, detachable connections in lightweight construction without the time-consuming use of concealing solid wood edges or adhesives.
Optimization of the manufacturing process thanks to easy assembly
The LC P-16 lightweight connector significantly improves the machining and assembly process. The time- consuming use of a concealed solid edge is eliminated, which speeds up the production process and also saves material. The connector is simply slid into place - which completely eliminates waiting times due to gluing. The result is a fast, smooth process that reduces time and costs in both manufacturing and assembly without compromising on aesthetics, stability and quality.
Perfect compatibility with the Clamex P family
The LC P-16 provides strong anchorage for the Clamex P-14 connector halves in the edges of the lightweight panel. The Clamex P-10 connector half can be inserted directly into the surface. Alternatively, the Clamex P-14 Flexus or Clamex P-14 CNC connectors can also be used. The Clamex P-10 connector half is best suited for the surface. If the surface layer is more than 4 mm thick, the Clamex P-14 connector half with its offset profile is also an excellent choice
Three product sizes for maximum flexibility
Lamello offers the LC P-16 in three sizes: LC P-16 Χ 11, LC P-16 Χ 17 and LC P-16 Χ 22. These variants enable precise joints for the most common lightweight panels. Machining is carried out either with the Zeta P2 or with a CNC router. The LC P-16 configurator determines the right product size and milling positions for each application.
