Elite Shutters & Blinds is a high end, premium shutter company specializing in interior plantation shutter manufacturing. We are looking for qualified applicants to join our team. A shutter maker will operate production wood working machinery, process milled components, assemble and join shutters. The right candidate will be trained on different stations and move between areas as needed. Experience in setting up, maintaining, and operating a variety of basic woodworking machines is desired.
Work schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4:00PM, Overtime as needed

Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for assembling wood shutter panels, wood frames and processing wood components by using specialized equipment. No tools necessary, all are provided. Training will be provided.
Cut, shape, and smooth wooden parts
Build wood shutters using hand tools and bar clamps
Sand products using sander or sandpaper
Read tape measurements
Utilize miter saws, air guns, and hammer
Set up, operate, and tend drill presses, shapers, routers, sanders, table saws, and wood-stapling machines
Minimum Qualifications & Preferences
Related experience to accurately measuring length, cutting wood material with power saws & drills.
Lift upwards to 40 lbs. frequently over a standard work day of 8 hours.
Detailed and self-motivated
Possess safety awareness
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
