SEEKING EXPERIENCED ESTIMATOR TO JOIN OUR TEAM
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in the custom building/manufacturing industry and well-developed estimating skills. Demonstrable ability to manage multiple projects effectively with excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to work well under pressure of deadlines while supporting outstanding relationships with clients, vendors, and WCAM Team. Strong technical background in estimating practices and methods including knowledge of relevant computer programs. Ability to work autonomously on estimates from beginning to end of process, and accept responsibility for direction, control and planning of projects. Ability to clearly express oneself verbally and in writing. Proficient in Word, Excel, Auto CAD 2D,3D, and Bluebeam.

ESTIMATOR JOB DESCRIPTION

SCHEDULE: Full Time, Office, and Site Visits
SUMMARY:
• Gather and review all the necessary information needed for Proposals.
• Thoroughly analyze, review, and mark up architectural plans including door/window schedules.
• Compose and send RFI’s for each project being quoted. Follow up to receive all answers needed.
• Gather pricing from Vendors for Materials, Hardware, for project quotes.
• Prepare Quote Proposals for fabrication of Custom Wood Doors and Windows for Customers.
• Prepare Change Orders of Jobs in Progress.
• Create & maintain a weekly schedule of projects being quoted along with any other tasks or projects assigned.
• Weekly meetings with President of company & members of Estimating Department.
• Put together Shop Drawings for Estimates / Mockups.
• Create new systems through product design research for recordkeeping, supporting accuracy & timelines.
• Maintain, research, and implement new software & tools, as needed for improvement of Estimating Dept.
• Contribute towards a positive and collaborative working environment with Entire WCAM Team.
