KEANE Architectural Woodwork located in Coconut Creek, Florida manufactures and installs high-end quality millwork, casework, custom closets and other custom decorative elements for the Healthcare, Hospitality, Private, Educational and Financial Sectors. Our 30,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility has the latest, state of the art machinery, machine technology, computer-aided design and environmentally friendly finishing department. Hours 7am - 4:30pm.
Responsibilities
Estimator must have Architectural Millwork background and is responsible for completing detailed and accurate take-offs for all Custom Millwork Projects. The position requires the candidate to analyze blueprints and specifications to generate detailed scopes of work and create detailed estimates.
The individual must be highly motivated, organized and very detail oriented. Individual should be able to multi-task, prioritize, and work with minimal supervision and have strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills to ensure all established deadlines are met.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 5 years Architectural Woodwork Estimating
Ability to Review Drawings
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Combine all material, labor, shipping, and other associated costs to calculate a final estimate.
Communicate with Owners/Architects regarding RFI’s and clarifications.
Qualify and compare vendor proposals to ensure all items included.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Power Point
Experience with Planswift a must.
Analyze drawings and specifications, material use and selections, scope of work, and perform quantity take-offs.
Must be able to manage multiple tasks and have excellent follow-up skills both internally and externally
Must be detailed oriented
Ability to work independently
Ability to create reports on costing data
Ability to put together professional presentations
Ability to work well on a team
Ability to understand technical drawings and requirement
Must be able to communicate with project team regarding ASI’s, RFI’s, and Material Submittals
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in related field
English -language proficient
Spanish -language proficient
Legally eligible to work in the United States
$60,000 - $75,000 a year
