Pay: $14.00 Per Hour

The SOP Intern will support our Texas operations team in developing and documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across cabinets and doors departments. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in process documentation, operational strategy, and organizational effectiveness.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with team leads and subject matter experts to understand current workflows and processes.
Draft clear, concise, and user-friendly SOP documents.
Conduct interviews or shadow staff to gather insights on operational tasks.
Organize SOPs in a standardized format for consistency across departments.
Assist in reviewing and updating existing SOPs to reflect current practices.
Ensure all documentation aligns with company standards and compliance requirements.
Help implement SOP tracking and version control systems.
Present draft SOPs for feedback and incorporate revisions.
Other duties as assigned.
Ability to work schedule as assigned.

Education and experience
Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Technical Writing, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and research abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Sitting approximately 8-10 hours, 5 days a week, depending on business need. May be required to work 6 days a week depending on business need.

Regular twisting, bending, squatting, pushing, pivoting, and moving or lifting 10-15 pounds.
Employees will occasionally lift and/or move 10-25 pounds while occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
