Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lead Cabinet Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience installing custom and prefabricated cabinetry in residential and commercial settings. As the lead installer, you will be responsible for overseeing installations, ensuring quality control, and leading a team to complete projects on time and to client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Install kitchen, bathroom, and custom cabinetry according to design specifications and blueprints.
Lead and supervise a team of cabinet installers and apprentices on job sites.
Ensure all installations meet company standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Read and interpret architectural drawings, layouts, and cabinet plans.
Measure, mark, and modify cabinets or countertops as needed for a perfect fit.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and project managers to ensure successful project completion.
Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues or unexpected onsite challenges.
Track project progress
Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of professional cabinet installation experience.
Proven experience leading or supervising installation teams.
Strong knowledge of cabinet construction, hardware, and finishing methods.
Proficient with hand and power tools related to cabinet installation.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (50+ lbs) and work in physically demanding environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with high-end or custom cabinetry.
Familiarity with woodworking or carpentry beyond installation
