Description
Located in Florida’s panhandle, near Destin, Marquis Fine Cabinetry is a mid-high end residential and commercial cabinet manufacturing company. For over 30 years, we have led the way in trendsetting design along the Gulf Coast. Operating from a beautiful showroom and a separate, automated manufacturing facility with a new and fully automated and robotic manufacturing plant that is expected to open in 2027.
We are currently seeking a highly organized and experienced Plant Production Manager to lead day-to-day operations in our cabinet manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong background in millwork and cabinetry fabrication.
Duties:
-Oversee daily plant operations, including production scheduling, labor allocation and workflow coordination
-Supervise, train, and lead production teams including assemblers, CNC operators, finishers, and custom fabricators.
-Collaborate with design, engineering, and installation teams to keep production aligned with goals and deadlines
-Maintain and manage all manufacturing equipment including calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
-Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean, compliant, and efficient facility
Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
Qualifications:
-20+ years of leadership, supervisory, or plant management experience with European Cabinet production
-Extensive engineering knowledge with advanced proficiency in Cabinet Vision
-Strong understanding of woodworking equipment, CNC machinery, beam saw, edge bander, automated finish line, etc…
-Proven experience in production scheduling, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles
