Job Description:
We’re looking for a skilled Spray Finisher to join our team. In this role, you’ll apply final finishes to cabinets and other wood products to ensure a smooth, polished, and visually appealing result. This includes sanding, staining, sealing, and applying top coats. You’ll work with a variety of materials including solid wood, laminates, and veneers, and be responsible for inspecting surfaces and correcting any defects before finishing.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Prepare wood and cabinet surfaces for finishing
Sand, scrape, and strip old finishes as needed
Mix and apply stains, sealers, and other finishes according to specifications
Inspect surfaces for defects and perform necessary repairs
Ensure high-quality finishing standards are met
Maintain tools and keep the work area clean and organized
Monitor material inventory and request supplies when needed
Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
Experience in wood finishing or cabinet finishing required
Strong attention to detail and a good eye for color and texture
Knowledge of different woods, stains, and finishing products
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Skilled in sanding, staining, varnishing, and polishing
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (subject to change)
