Joshua Friedman Company has an immediate opening for an experienced Cabinet Maker. We are located in New London County. We are a High End Architectural Millwork/Cabinet Shop. The majority of our work is within the residential markets of Eastern Long Island and New York City. We build cabinetry for all rooms in the residential market including Kitchens, Baths, Libraries, Bars, Dressing Rooms, Family Rooms and more. A successful candidate will have the following skills:
Read and interpret Architectural shop drawings for Cabinetry and Millwork. Can produce their own cut lists. In addition to the usual and customary woodshop tools and equipment, you should be able to operate the following machinery: Horizontal Sliding Table Panel Saw, 32 mm Boring Machinery, Shaper, Joiner and Planer.
The successful individual will have a positive attitude, a good attendance record and the desire to perform quality workmanship in a timely manner.
