Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are accounted for. This role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of construction management, and the ability to read and break down architectural shop drawings. Salary is commensurate with experience. Does require the ability to be in office located in Riviera Beach, FL.
Duties include:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation.
- Occasionally conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather relevant data.
- Collaborate with project managers to understand project scope and objectives.
- Utilize construction estimating software, such as Quickbooks, to create and maintain accurate estimates.
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase to maintain cost control.
- Provide support in contract negotiations and prepare bid proposals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and pricing.
