Description
First American Millwork is seeking a skilled and reliable CNC & Machine Operator to join our growing production team. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining our CNC Router, Beamsaw, and Edgebander machines to produce high-quality custom millwork components. The ideal candidate has experience in architectural millwork, understands shop drawings, and takes pride in craftsmanship and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC router (Holzher), Beamsaw, and Edgebander safely and effectively
- Read and interpret shop drawings, cutlists, and work orders
- Perform machine setups, calibrations, and basic maintenance
- Inspect parts for accuracy and quality
- Coordinate with Project Managers and Shop Foreman on production timelines
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience operating CNC or automated equipment (millwork or cabinetry preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret CAD-based shop drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Basic computer literacy
- Commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork
Compensation & Benefits:
