POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Receiver 3 to join our Tacoma-based warehouse team with a specialized focus on door hardware, and general knowledge across the doors and millwork industry. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that supports the operational success of inbound material flow, proper identification, labeling, staging, and verification of all received goods.

The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of door hardware components (hinges, locks, strikes, closers, thresholds, etc.), a disciplined eye for detail, and the ability to work independently while mentoring junior team members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Accurately receive, inspect, and document all inbound door hardware and related millwork materials
Cross-reference deliveries with purchase orders and packing slips in Agility (or related ERP)
Identify and label material with part numbers, descriptions, and project allocation as needed
Participate in second-party verifications and QC check-in processes per SOP
Communicate discrepancies or damage immediately to Purchasing and escalate per RMA protocols
Assist with stocking inventory in appropriate bin locations or designated staging areas
Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment (certification preferred)
Maintain clean, safe, and organized receiving areas
Mentor and train newer receivers on process and product identification, especially hardware
Support cycle counting, physical inventory, and process improvement initiatives
Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

High School diploma or GED required.
Previous experience as a warehouse receiver or in a similar role is preferred.
Forklift certification is a plus.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES

3+ years of receiving or warehouse experience, preferably in doors, hardware, or millwork
Strong familiarity with door hardware types and terminology (residential and commercial)
Ability to read and interpret BOMs, cut sheets, and vendor documentation
Basic computer skills and experience with ERP/inventory systems (Agility is a plus)
Comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs and standing/moving throughout the shift
Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
High attention to detail and pride in accuracy and accountability
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration.
The noise level is usually loud.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT: Frontier Door and Cabinet’s Safety Program and all established safety rules must be followed, and equipment used where required. This will include safety glasses and hearing protection. This position will also require use of gloves, safety glasses, and dust masks.
