Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Custom Woodworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with woodworking machinery, reading drawings and custom craftsmanship. This role involves creating unique, high-quality wood products—from custom awards and recognition items to specialty hospitality and display pieces—that meet client specifications and uphold our company’s long tradition of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
• Read and interpret drawings, and customer specifications.
• Select, cut, shape, and assemble wood materials for custom projects.
• Operate woodworking machinery (saws, sanders, shapers, planers, routers, etc.) safely and efficiently.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and durability.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
• Troubleshoot and repair tools and machinery as needed.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in woodworking, carpentry, cabinetmaking, or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings/measurements.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
• Excellent attention to detail, craftsmanship, and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and manipulate wood materials safely.
