Starting Base Salary: $55-80K
Summary
We are currently looking for an estimator with experience in the retail fixture and / or casework industry. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment and to prioritize and complete multiple projects independently with strong communication skills. Previous experience with estimating, programming CNC equipment or drafting software is a plus.
Responsibilities
• Create and update technical drawings for metal-parts manufacturing in AutoCAD or other computer aided design software
• Work with sales, engineering and production staff to produce parts that meet customer specifications
• Assist in troubleshooting issues that may arise during the fabrication or assembly process
• Create and update machine programs to be used to cut parts
• Coordinate with other teams to ensure the model is correct
• Create models out of rough sketches
Requirements
• Knowledge of necessary regulations
• Very detail oriented with very solid mathematical skills
• Associates in drafting or 2-5 years relevant experience
• Great time management skills & ability to work on your own
• Inventor, AutoCad, or other 3D drafting software experience
• Ability to problem solve & stay organized, while juggling multiple projects at once
