Heartwood Theory is a custom woodworking and furniture shop. We build everything from furniture and built-ins to CNC-cut signs and one-of-a-kind projects. We’re a small shop that values craftsmanship, efficiency, and attention to detail.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a reliable shop helper to join the team. No formal experience needed—just someone dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable with hands-on work. You’ll get plenty of exposure to woodworking tools, custom builds, and the day-to-day of a working shop.
What You’ll Do:
Help with cutting, sanding, and assembling projects
Assist with CNC cutting and engraving jobs
Keep the shop organized and clean
Move materials and load/unload deliveries (must be able to lift up to 50 lbs)
Help with installs and deliveries when needed
What We’re Looking For:
Interest in woodworking or learning the trade
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Positive attitude and team player
Previous woodworking/carpentry experience is a plus, but not required
Pay & Hours:
$17–$20/hr depending on experience
Part-time or full-time options
Flexible schedule with room to grow
Tools provided
