We are a high-end custom millwork and cabinetry shop seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the production, coordination, and installation of detailed architectural woodwork and custom cabinetry. This position requires a professional who combines strong project management skills with a deep understanding of fine woodworking, finishes, and architectural drawings.
About the Role:
As Project Manager, you will serve as the bridge between our design, fabrication, and installation teams—ensuring every project meets our exacting standards for quality, precision, and client satisfaction. You’ll manage multiple custom projects from concept to completion, maintaining schedules, budgets, and communication across all parties involved.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee custom millwork and cabinetry projects from start to finish
2. Interpret and review architectural and shop drawings for accuracy and build feasibility
3. Coordinate with clients, designers, builders, and the in-house shop team
4. Monitor production timelines, material orders, and installation schedules
5. Ensure finishes, dimensions, and details align with project specifications and design intent
6. Conduct site visits, take field measurements, and oversee installation quality
7. Identify and resolve issues proactively to maintain project flow and quality
Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in custom millwork, cabinetry, or architectural woodworking
* Proven background managing high-end residential or commercial projects
* Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, materials, and finishes
* Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
* Detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-driven
