Cozzolino Custom Millwork is looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our talented team at our shop in West Orange, NJ. Our company is an architectural millwork firm whose projects focus on high-end custom residential interiors.
Primary responsibility will include the fabrication of unique custom cabinetry utilizing detailed shop drawings/CAD. Fabrication may utilize veneers, solids, and/or engineered woods, CNC-cut parts, along with specialized custom hardware. Fabrication often includes integration with custom metal, glass, leather, straw marquetry, and more. Fabrication may include Harmon doors, curved rooms/doors, custom veneer layups, high-gloss polyester finishes. No two projects are ever alike, so our work is always exciting. Responsibility can also include operating and programming a Heian 3-axis CNC router with a flat vacuum table with a Fanuc control module.
Requirements:
• 5+ years in custom millwork, cabinet making
• Highly proficient in understanding shop drawings
• Experience working with solid woods and veneer, European hinges, slides, Tectus hinges, tight tolerances.
• Strong knowledge experience with most types of woodworking machinery, tools, and techniques. This includes sliding tables saws, veneer splicer, edgebander, jointer, planer.
• Have an eagerness and ability to produce the finest workmanship, communicate effectively, and thrive in a critical-thinking environment.
