Wright Architectural Millwork Corp., a fifty-one year old custom Architectural Millwork manufacturer, located in Chicopee, MA., is seeking to hire a highly motivated individual to operate several pieces of production machinery on a rotating basis; including a nested CNC Router, 5 axis CNC router, Edge Bander, Beam Saw, Automated Material Handling System & Robotic Work Cell.
Job Responsibilities to Include:
Properly and efficiently, machine & manufacture job specific parts utilizing a variety of machinery per plans and specifications.
Perform basic and routine machine maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment in and around machinery.
Follows all company policies and procedures, works with supervisor and management to accomplish goals of company.
Communicate effectively, positively and work successfully as a team member.
Display initiative and exhibit sound judgment and common sense.
Prerequisites:
Pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.
Prior woodworking/shop experience is a plus but not required.
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
Understanding of machine operation including cut depths, feed rates, speeds and how they relate to the different types of materials they are machining.
