Overview
RiverCity Cabinets is a high-end residential custom cabinetry company seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to provide leadership and direction across all major operational departments, including engineering, project management, production, and installation. This role oversees the Plant Manager, Production Manager, and department leads to ensure the entire operation works cohesively, efficiently, and in alignment with company goals.
The ideal candidate is both a strategic leader and a technically capable professional who understands cabinet manufacturing well enough to guide, train, and support team members when needed.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Department Oversight
Provide overall leadership for engineering, project management, production, and installation teams.
Manage and support department heads, ensuring responsibilities are clear and expectations are met.
Coordinate workflow and communication between departments to promote smooth project execution.
Hands-On Support & Technical Guidance
Maintain a working knowledge of cabinet manufacturing processes.
Provide hands-on assistance or training when needed to reinforce standards or support team development.
Help troubleshoot issues that arise in engineering, production, or installation.
Planning & Coordination
Oversee scheduling and high-level planning efforts across departments.
Ensure that project timelines, workloads, and staffing levels remain aligned with company objectives.
Assist in developing and implementing improved processes and systems.
Quality & Performance Management
Support department leaders in meeting company expectations for quality, accuracy, and professionalism.
Help monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and facilitate corrective actions.
Promote consistency and accountability across all operational areas.
Culture & Organizational Integration
Foster a positive, collaborative, and respectful work environment.

Qualifications
Experience managing operations or multiple departments in manufacturing, construction, or a related industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and guide department managers.
Hands-on knowledge of cabinetmaking or related fabrication work.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to create alignment, build trust, and reinforce company culture.
