Parkerville Wood Products, Inc. is a well-established architectural millwork manufacturer specializing in high-end commercial and residential projects. We partner with Connecticut insurance companies, premier universities, luxury homeowners, corporate offices, banks, and other institutions to deliver custom millwork solutions.
Parkerville is seeking an experienced Architectural Millwork General Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of its Architectural Millwork department. This senior leadership role is responsible for managing projects from award through production and installation, ensuring quality, profitability, and timely delivery. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills and extensive experience managing high-end architectural millwork projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide overall leadership and direction for the Architectural Millwork department.
• Manage and coordinate the estimating, drafting, and engineering functions.
• Supervise and support a production team of approximately 7 skilled millwork craftsmen.
• Review project scope, drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure accurate execution.
• Coordinate internal teams to prepare projects for efficient and profitable production.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and client expectations.
• Manage purchasing of materials and subcontracted services.
• Monitor time, labor, and material costs to maintain project budgets and margins.
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients, architects, designers, and contractors.
• Participate in project meetings as required.
Qualifications & Experience
• Extensive experience managing high-end architectural millwork projects, including both commercial and residential work.
• Proven leadership experience overseeing production teams and multiple departments.
• Strong understanding of millwork estimating, drafting, engineering, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
