Summary
The Engineer is responsible for creating accurate, high-quality cutlists and production programming to support efficient manufacturing operations, with a primary focus on standardized cabinet programs. This role prepares and maintains cutlist work orders, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and related programming data within Microvellum and Innergy, ensuring alignment with approved work orders and production requirements. The Microvellum Cutlist / Programmer partners closely with Production to support day-to-day programming needs, resolve basic programming issues, and contribute to quality, consistency, and continuous improvement in production processes.
Responsibilities
-Identify and implement continuous improvement (CI) and engineering opportunities to enhance programming efficiency, quality, and standardization.
-Perform quality checks on cutlists to ensure alignment with approved work orders and project requirements.
-Provide ongoing support to Production by troubleshooting and resolving programming-related issues.
-Develop and release high-quality production programming to support manufacturing operations.
-Manage and process cutlist work orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness for all job types.
-Associate cutlists with Innergy work orders in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
-Previous cabinetry and / or millwork Engineering experience or 2 years or more.
-Ability to read and review architectural drawings/plans and specifications.
-Architectural Millwork and / or Cabinet Making and / or installing.
-2D & 3D CAD, preference given to BricsCAD and AutoCAD.
-CNC Programming expertise & AWI Standards knowledge.
