Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Vision Engineer to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in cabinet design software, specifically Cabinet Vision, to develop precise manufacturing drawings, optimize production workflows, and support installation projects. Your technical proficiency combined with hands-on construction knowledge will ensure seamless integration from design to fabrication, helping us deliver top-quality cabinetry solutions efficiently and accurately. Duties
Develop detailed cabinet designs and shop drawings using Cabinet Vision software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications
Collaborate with project managers, fabricators, and installers to streamline the transition from design to manufacturing and installation
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and schematics related to cabinetry, framing, and millwork components
Assist in creating fabrication layouts, cut lists, and assembly instructions for manufacturing teams
Support on-site installation teams by providing technical guidance on cabinet installation procedures and troubleshooting issues
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for material specifications, custom components, and fabrication needs
Conduct quality control inspections on fabricated components to ensure compliance with design standards and safety regulations
Requirements
Proven experience with Cabinet Vision or similar cabinetry design software in a manufacturing or construction setting
Strong knowledge of carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, door hanging, siding, and metal stud framing
Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and cabinetry layouts
Excellent communication skills for coordinating across teams and documenting project progress
