CNC Operator
Location: 1340 East Street New Britain, Connecticut 06053
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 1st Shift

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator with hands-on machining experience to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in operating CNC machines, reading blueprints, maintaining tight tolerances, and ensuring high-quality production standards in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Set up and operate CNC machines
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
• Load raw materials and monitor machine operations for accuracy and efficiency
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and minor machine adjustments
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Maintain quality standards and document inspection results
• Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with supervisors or programmers as needed
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
• Meet production deadlines while maintaining accuracy and consistency
Qualifications
• Some experience of CNC machining/operator experience required
• Strong understanding of tooling and machining processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification preferred
