What You’ll Do
Bid / Preconstruction
• Review drawings/specs, evaluate opportunities, and determine project fit
• Build complete bid budgets by identifying and projecting costs across scope
• Prepare bid packages, manage addenda, and submit bids by deadline
• Solicit vendor quotes, negotiate pricing, and resolve cost discrepancies
• Enter bid information into Crow’s Nest
Scope, Accuracy, Value
• Ask follow-up questions, document responses, and confirm requirements
• Perform final scope review prior to submission; double-check critical deliverables
• Include value engineering ideas where possible; maintain cost keys/price masters
Turnover + Follow-Up
• Turn over bid documents to Project Management promptly and completely
• Review drawings and job costs with PMs; highlight concerns early
• Follow up on submitted bids/budgets to support closing work

What We’re Looking For
• High school diploma or equivalent (additional education preferred or equivalent experience)
• Experience soliciting vendor quotes in architectural/construction environments; strong woodworking industry knowledge
• Experience with estimating software
• Ability to manage bid schedules, attend site/scope meetings, and maintain productive client communications
• Change orders / schedule creation using modern software is a plus
• Bonus: Strong GC/architect relationship skills and comfort helping close work
