Description
We're a growing custom millwork, architectural metal, and powder coating shop in North Miami, working with GCs, architects, and designers on commercial, hospitality, and institutional projects. This isn't an admin or assistant role — it's the person who keeps every moving part of a project connected: shop drawings, approvals, material procurement, fabrication, delivery, site readiness, and installation. When something's about to slip, you catch it before it becomes a problem, not after.
What you'll do
Own the connections between drafting, procurement, the shop, and the field — track every open item through to completion, not just log it
Manage submittals and the approval chain with GCs, architects, and designers
Keep material readiness and fabrication schedules aligned with site timelines
Flag risk early — scheduling conflicts, material delays, site conditions — and drive the fix, not just the alert
Work directly with ownership and with our office, shop, drafting, procurement, and field teams
Progressively take on more of the day-to-day project operations as you prove you can run with it
What we're looking for
Direct architectural millwork experience is a plus, but we're just as interested in strong candidates from commercial construction, specialty subcontracting, custom manufacturing, architectural metals, glass and glazing, stone, project engineering, procurement, logistics, or installation coordination
Organized, commercially aware, and genuinely curious about how the pieces fit together — not just someone who follows a checklist
Comfortable with real accountability and ready to grow into more responsibility, not looking for a ceiling
Based in North Miami — office, shop, and South Florida jobsites
What we offer
$75,000–$85,000 base, depending on experience and demonstrated capability
