Hiring: Procurement Specialist for our custom millwork shop. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, precision, and problem-solving skills. You'll be an essential part of the company, acting as a bridge between the office staff — who will provide you with approved shop drawings with all materials listed (quantity and type) — and the shop floor, ensuring orders are placed on time so operations run smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
Ordering materials and following schedules to ensure project deadlines are met
Managing and maintaining an accurate inventory of all materials and hardware
Receiving, inspecting, and properly storing all incoming materials, ensuring they match orders in terms of quality and quantity
Delivering materials to carpenters as needed for ongoing projects
Entering all material-related invoices into our accounting software and keeping records organized
Being creative and resourceful in procuring materials, especially when certain items are hard to find
Flagging opportunities where something in a project could be made in-house instead of bought out — and bringing it to the estimator for a real cost comparison
This position requires someone who is highly detail-oriented and meticulous to ensure that what we order exactly matches what we receive.
What we offer
$65,000–$75,000, depending on experience
