Description
The Engineering Assistant will help coordinate and engineer casework and millwork products. You will coordinate between Project Managers, Engineers, Purchaser and Shop Supervisor to help ensure engineering standards are maintained and product constructability. Your primary focus will be building, organizing and maintaining a digital product library to expedite manufacturing casework. The role includes on-the-job training for Casework Logic internal engineering standards and PYTHA 3D CAD. This role is designed for students studying Architecture, Engineering or a related field to gain hands-on experience in the AEC industry.
Responsibilities
* Organize and verify existing library items
* Organize and maintain a digital materials library
* Update materials settings in existing library items
* Assist Senior Engineer on project-specific engineering
* Collaborate with Project Management to simplify uploading engineering information into INNERGY manufacturing management software
* Verify model accuracy and constructability with Shop Supervisor
* Other engineering and drafting tasks as assigned
Required Skills

Part Time: 15-20 hours/week
Salary Range: $24.00 - $28.00/hour
