Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Estimator / Bid Coordinator to review bid opportunities, coordinate quotes, and communicate with customers and internal team members. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, responsive, professional, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
● Review incoming sales and bid emails and determine which opportunities are a good fit.
● Track bid due dates, addenda, RFIs, delivery requirements, pricing updates, and project changes.
● Coordinate accurate, timely bid submissions.
● Communicate professionally with general contractors, residential clients, vendors, and internal team members.
● Respond to quote requests, questions, follow-ups, negotiations, award notices, and project-status updates.
Qualifications:
● Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple bid tasks and projects.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● High attention to detail when reviewing bid documents, addenda, RFIs, and pricing changes.
● Comfortable using email, digital folders, task lists, and QuickBooks or similar business software.
● Professional customer service skills and ability to work with contractors, homeowners, vendors, and visitors.
Preferred Experience:
● 5 years experience in the casework and millwork field as a project manager or estimator.
● Familiarity with general contractor bid processes, RFIs, addenda, and project award communication.
Schedule:
This is a full-time, in-person position located in Tallahassee, FL. Typical office hours are Monday – Friday, 7am-3:30pm.
