Mozaik CNC Production-Level Designer

I'm an experienced Mozaik production designer and CNC programmer based in Knoxville, Tennessee, offering remote, project-based design and production support to custom cabinet shops nationwide.

My background includes working as a Lead Designer, CNC Programmer/Operator, and Production Manager at a custom cabinetry manufacturer. I also have hands-on experience in cabinet fabrication, assembly, installation, and high-end finish carpentry. This gives me a practical understanding of how designs translate into actual shop production, from initial layouts to finished installations.

My services include:

Mozaik Cabinet Design: Custom cabinetry layouts, 3D renderings, detailed plans, elevations, and client approval drawings.

Production Engineering: Detailed cabinet construction, assembly sheets, material specifications, hardware requirements, and production-ready documentation.

CNC Programming: Preparing Mozaik projects for CNC production, including machining operations, sheet optimization, nesting, and G-code generation configured for the shop's equipment.

Non-CNC Manufacturing: Accurate, organized cut lists for shops using table saws, panel saws, and traditional woodworking equipment. Reports can include cabinet parts, face frames, doors, drawer boxes, hardware, and material requirements.

Production Optimization: Reviewing designs for manufacturability, material efficiency, construction accuracy, and potential issues before production.

Overflow Design Support: Assisting established cabinet shops with individual projects, production backlogs, or ongoing drafting and engineering needs.

I understand that every shop has its own construction methods, materials, hardware standards, and production workflow. My goal is to provide documentation that works with your existing processes rather than requiring your shop to change how it builds cabinetry.

I'm particularly attentive to confirming appliance specifications, hardware clearances, cabinet dimensions, construction details, and unanswered design questions before releasing work for production.
