CARPENTER / WOODWORKER WANTED — $1,350 FIXED LABOR + APPROVED MATERIALS
FIRM COMPLETION DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 13, 2026
We need a skilled carpenter, scenic carpenter, woodworker or prop fabricator to build a stationary two-seat car-interior acting rig for the film Neon Tide: White Phosphorus. Builder delivery to Long Island is required.
This is a practical studio prop approximating a Porsche 918 Spyder seating layout. We provide the design references, two bucket seats and a steering wheel. No running vehicle, motion platform, full dashboard, roof, windshield, finished exterior bodywork or automotive electronics are required.
BUILD SCOPE
- Approximately 72 x 64-inch modular split base, roughly 6-inch deck height.
- Securely mount two supplied seats side by side and the steering wheel on the left; wheel must allow controlled turning.
- Build a raised center console rising toward the front.
- Two approximately 5-foot front-hinged doors, with rear exterior handles, interior pulls and reliable closure.
- Sturdy bracing, smooth contact surfaces, reusable connections, labeled hardware and straightforward breakdown/reassembly for transport. Preserve camera access.
Review the actual seats, wheel, dimensions, door clearance and transport sections with production before accepting the final scope. Flag any conflicts before building. The assembled rig must be demonstrated, checked and completed by November 13, 2026. Agree delivery timing and any delivery charges before work begins.
PAY
$1,350 fixed labor fee for the agreed scope. Construction materials and hardware paid separately at cost after advance approval; itemized estimate before purchasing and receipts afterward. No extra labor, functional substitutions or spending beyond approved amounts without written approval.
TO APPLY
Reply with your location, earliest start date, photos of comparable work, workspace/tools available, preliminary materials estimate if possible, and confirmation you can meet the November 13 deadline and deliver to Long Island. Please identify any delivery charges and design concerns.
