This handy machine is great for the cabinet or door shop! Powered by a hefty 3 HP 220 volt single phase motor, it has the ability to sand the finest pieces that your shop will produce. The work table slides forward and backward and the head can be flipped to use as an edge sander. Has ball bearing table and platen guides, 2 4" dust chutes, a well placed magnetic switch that swivels left or right for optimum safety and even a motor safety brake for the belt if it breaks! Handwheel belt tensioning system for quick easy belt changes. Table size is 59 1/16" x 23 5/8", vertical table travel is 21 5/8" and horizontal travel of the platen is 50 3/4". Max workpiece length is 78 3/4", min thickness of workpiece is 5 1/2" Table lateral travel is 18" 3710 sfpm belt speed, 8" diameter drive wheel. Uses standard 6" x 186" sanding belts.
