Where did you get the wood for the dominoes. I am interested in buying mesquite for knife handles or maybe drying my own wood. Nice dominoes

Hi David. I live in Iowa, and I scavenge trees for benches, stools, tables, spears, gavels, walking canes, etc. I've seen tv shows where the woodworker made beautiful projects from Mesquite. Unfortunately, mesquite doesn't grow here, I think the closest it grows are parts of Texas. If it's possible, write back with a source, or two, or three, (or more!) of whole mesquite logs. By source, I mean a company name and contact info. Thanks a lot for responding, if you can.

P.S. Have you ever made any projects out of honeylocust? It's fairly common here in Iowa and Illinois, and it's a unique, beautiful wood.
