Great job Telecad !! Did you apply the finish onsite or at your shop? I like the way the crown wraps around the soffit..gives it great depth and adds that custom touch. Very nice

Sincerely,
Curtis

The finish was applied at the shop.
The crown mldg. is poplar hand painted with a faux finish to simulate walnut. It was 9 feet from the floor and I figured no one would notice. The good part is that I did this entire apartment at Williams Island, FL. (6 rooms). The bad part is that on a $100K order, I got stiffed for $5500. Live and learn. The couple got divorced shortly after. You know what they say about payback?

I'd slap a lean on that property real quick for the $5500!

I did put a lean on the property. You know that you have to re-new the lean every year? It's not that much money but it turned out that I would have had to keep up the lean for almost 15 years before they sold. I chaulked it up to experience, Anyway the scumbag did this to all the vendors including the audio guy he stiffed for $3200. It was his way of getting a discount that he thought that he deserved. I did mucho work for this guy and usually made big time money and he is the guy who got me into the first condo ever built in Boca Raton. So I have nothing to complain about. Besides when I show the work I did for him, it usually gets me more work. I don't get mad, I get even.

LIEN is what you put against a real or personal property for debt satisfaction.
LEAN is what you do to the guy when you corner him in a back alley. Just joking.

Posted By:Tele

So that's why I didn't get my money.
You're right, I should have backed him into a dark alley somewhere.
Sorry. I've been watching too much Tv.

Tele,

Do you have a close up of one of the arches? I'd be curious to see the detailing.

Regards,

Mick Dugan

Mick;

I do have my original details for this job and I will pull them out and get them to you. I do believe that I made 1/4" build ups on the lips of the arches but the details will tell the truth. I will get to it. Yours truly.

Posted By:J,
Sorry that you got shorted, but that is truly an impressive piece of work. Great work!
