Company Name: LRG WoodCraftingThis is a coffee table, the bottom is built from Maple and the top is from Curly Maple. The top ends are breadboarded, mortise and tenon and pegged, no glue. The top is made from 3 8" boards glued together. The base is mortise and tenon and glued no pegs. It is finished in a dull black lacquer, the top is stained with a light brown and washed with lacquer to help lighten the field while letting the stripes of the Curly Maple show up darker, then clearcoated with a dull sheen lacquer. The tray is a made from a piece of plywood with iron on edging, lacquer black, and Curly Maple handles.
