Yes, very nice work.

The paneled wood soffit under the stairs is a bit unusual and sometimes nearly impossible since the panels themselves must form heliocoidal surfaces.


Attempting to bend and twist plywood panels in three different directions has stumped me a time or two.

To bad you weren't able to line up the vertical frame of the plinth base (under the stairs) with the vertical frame on the paneled stringer? (Nits)

The white mantel is just perfect.

Pretty work indeed.

I love painted woodwork.

Woodworkers try to sand wood so it is as smooth as plastic - "marketers" make plastic "roughsawn" in a mis-guided attempt to duplicate wood.

Go figure.
