Like I said, I'm not a pro woodworker. I am a pro plumber, I got paid for all these pieces, that is more than I can say about some of the toilets I have unplugged, or frozen pipes I have fixed.

Part of being a pro woodworker is keeping the customer happy. I think she was happy right? BTW I use spalted wood on my home projects.
I had not thought that molded wood would be a delicacy in the wood world, but my cheap brown maple got rained on and stacked without sticks and about 2 months into the summer I had some valuable spalted wood!
That is another part of being a pro...knowing what a board is going to look like once you're done with the project.

I'm a pro, and I say you're doing great!
