We took this commission on in 2010 as part of a Interior fit out of a new build house. The kitchen's concept was given to us by the client who wanted to achieve something totally unique and not to look " off the shelf " in anyway. After the initial consultation and discussions " Crabtree & Hargreeves" were commissioned to build the Kitchen. All the Cabinets were made from American White Oak, the worktop was custom made and covered in Ebony Macasser Veneer. This is entirely bespoke and is truly unique. Here we have turned our clients ideas into reality. Each piece was hand crafted and made to the customers exact requirements from the draw cabinets either side of the custom made AGA to the 4m run of cabinet doors which was all made in 1 piece and all the highly polished stainless steel trims on the draws and doors were all made specifically for this project. Here you'll see the process of how we got to this kitchen's completion. We believe this is the only kitchen like this in the world and as such is the definition of Bespoke furniture.

I really like the bathroom, with the exception of the vessel sinks. The kitchen is unique, I think the designer missed the mark with the stainless appliques on the oak doors. The off the shelf pulls are terrible. The macassar top is very unique, I like that a lot. However, it doesn't seem to go with the doors, or the doors don't seem to go with the top. Unique job nonetheless, craftsmanship looks spot on.

Totally agree with you on some points. I did try and point the customer towards using black walnut instead of oak i think that would have gone better with the macasser, but he wanted the counter top to be the first thing you see when you walk in the room and to be a stand alone piece in it's own right which i think it achieves. The house owner did the designs I just made it. The trims though added a nice touch I thought but you are right about the handles they did let the job down. Again the stain on the oak maybe should have been more brown in tone but it was the customer's choice and they say the customer is always right.
Thanks for the comments positive and negative.
