Curly maple table

Listing #354 Listed on: 05/24/2006 Name: Tony Reynolds

Company Name: FlintRidge WoodworksTable is 30" high 26" wide and 14" deep. Ebony tenon pins, and finished with blonde shellac. Top is book-matched and rubbed to a high gloss. Beading on apron is cut from apron stock so figure patterns match and set proud of the apron. As many others here I seem to struggle in pricing my work, any help appreciated. I live in the central Ohio market. Critiques and comments welcome.

Very nice table, I always love curly maple, it never gets old. The photos do no justice I'm sure, it must really glow in the sun light. Nice touch with the pins and edge routing on the skirts.

A beauty! No doubt you've noticed the shifting of the figure as you change viewing angle ( dark becomes light, light becomes dark) An awesome characteristic with a cool name: chatoyance. For my taste, I would use figured woods here and there as opposed to everywhere. $ 900.00 or so

Love it! I like tapered legs on this height of table. With a slightly longer apron, a little drawer in the middle would make the next one more interesting, especially with an ebony pull, and more marketable. Since women buy most of the furniture made, there's an angle from a woman's point of view. We love beauty, but there also needs to be functionality.

Nice table. I have a friend in Lexington,KY. who makes tables like the one here and he sells his for quite a bit of cash I must say and yours is as nice as his from what I can tell by the picture. I almost wonder if your not getting your wood from him. He was at one time one of the biggest supliers of Curly Maple around. I would have to price your table, if sold to the right person around $ 600. or better. I would not let it go for less than that for sure.

At the shop my stuff is in,here on Cape Cod Mass.,that table would sell @ 1500-1800. It is Beautiful, but I agree a drawer would add value.
