i used steel l brkts made of 1x1 angle welded to make 90's
then mounted them to the back of the panel they extend thru holes under the shelf

The wood and design looks fine, the wall looks as if it needs a darker tone of color.
Thats just me and my opinion, but I'm a welder.

the panel actually floats off the wall about 3 inches
was thinking of a ebony boarder but thought it would be too much

i sent 2 sheets of wow had them pressed
so the shelves are just veneer the ebony is solid with a champher
