This is a Hope Chest that I made for my granddaughter for graduation. It is made from Red Oak that I cut the trees from her parents property and milled, designed and built. Hidden drawer was a total pain, but makes this chest a great conversation piece. Removable Cedar panels in the bottom allow removal to view inscription and to refresh the cedar if necessary.
