Walnut Burl Extension Table

Extension table that goes from 10' to 14' with 3 leaves. Two (three) four way Walnut crotch burl matches with a perimeter of Australian Walnut waterfall.

Equalizer slides and a drop down leg. Three legged pedestals were more difficult than I anticipated.

Unfinished.

I'm totally impressed with the matching crossband grain match from leaf to top. I can imagine it took a lot of time to get right.

As there any concern that the table top will expand and contract against the skirting attached in the underside? or is it allowed to float?

No problem. The top is 5 ply veneered - MDF with crossbands and face veneers. There is no movement in the top. The support frame is part of the pedestal and sled assembly
