Hi Dustin, Sorry for the late reply. Yes ball bearing hinges should be used, but it's not that heavy. I haven't actually weighed it, but my guess is that it's under 80lbs.
Vary nice,if you are conserned about moistor,weight,should use pine core.#2or#3.More knot's,the better.Biuld's energy in stiles.
