This is a table I designed and built out of White Oak and Cherry. The Cherry strips are not inlayed they go all the way through the White Oak.

What did you do to maintain structural integrity with the cherry endgrain meeting the inlay strips?
Nice work, and pretty to look at.
There are no inlays. 3/8" of the white oak is cut out and 3/8" of cherry replaces it.
