This is a walnut secretary that is dated back to the late 1940's. The sides were made of maple and all the fronts made of walnut.
Finishing Schedule
- Strip & sand bare p220
- 2 coats Oxford wr400 sanded 220 between
- 2 coats Ultraseal shellac amber
- 2-3 coats Utraseal shellac garnet
- Multiple (lots) coats USL gloss toned with Transtint Golden brown
- All finish coats sanded p320-400 between coats
