I hated to see good logs get cut up for firewood. I started cutting trees for firewood, then started performing tree work for hire. I formalized these two hobbies into a side business in addition to my primary job. I specialize in large slabs using a Granberg Alaskan Chainsaw Mill. I recently added an EZ Boardwalk Model 40 band saw mill to my equipment list. Most logs are milled on site, and air dried a minimum of one year per inch of slab thickness.
