AWI Standards

03/29/2014

From original questioner:

My early years in this trade were spent in a shop that did some commercial work, but for the last 15 I've been self-employed doing residential cabinetry in a small shop setting. I'm turning the page on this chapter and one option I'm looking into is project management for a company that most likely will be primarily commercial. What is the most practical way to get some basic grounding in AWI standards, which seems to be a pre-requisite for this type of position?

Although I confess I have no idea, I would call AWI and ask them. Perhaps there is some sort of training. Then there is the cabinetmakers assoc.
good luck bromigo

Purchase the manual and read it cover to cover till you "own it". Good luck with the adventure.
