Gluing PVC Foamboard to Wood

Suggestions for adhering closed-cell PVC panel goods to a wood substrate. November 30, 2009

Does anyone know of a quick-set glue to bond plastic (sintra) to wood?

Back when I was in film set construction we'd use sintra as easy white stage floors. We'd rough up the back (say 80 grit) and stick it down to the substrate with solvent-based contact cement. It stuck forever!

Locktite power grab works well. It is not "instant" as advertised, but if you apply and cure 24 hours above 57 degrees it will work.
