What is the best adhesive to use on Missouri aromatic Cedar? I won't know the exact moisture content until Monday, but guessing around 16%. It has been stickered & ventilated for 8 years. I would need to glue up some narrow table tops about 24" wide.

Now I'm told 11 years not 8. Wondering if Gorilla glue would work. That's what we use for a lot of our Azek, cellular PVC products.

I've used just regular elmers or tb wood glue on all my ERC chest. Air dried lumber here in KY is generally around 11% MC but if your lumber is actually 16% either bring it inside to acclimate for a few weeks or maybe consider a urethane glue. I know some of my chests from 15 years ago still look great and all I ever used was wood glue.

The material is reading 8.5 - 9 %
Just to be safe I'm planning on the gorilla glue.

There are different glues in the Gorilla glue family. You probably should get a PUR.
With this cedar, almost any glue will work well and create a joint stronger than the wood, so the comments about TB I or II are also correct.

TB 1 is a lot easier to work with than PUR, no bubbling drools. ERC/juniper seems pretty soft for a table top?
